Created by Verge Games

A 5e one-shot adventure for 5th to 7th level following Charles Dickens’s classic tale: A Christmas Carol.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

It’s a Christmas Miracle! Tiny Tim Model Pack Unlocked!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Dec 03, 2019 at 04:40:57 PM

Our final stretch goal, the Tiny Tim model pack, has been unlocked!

First and foremost, we wanted to say thank you to everyone. We are nearing the finish line, and this project would not have been possible without your support. We have been excited about this project for a long time, and it is a joy to have that excitement shared by a great community.

In the beginning, we honestly were not sure if we would make it as far as we have. We have already reached out to the artists to get the artwork and models started for this latest model pack addition and cannot wait to see what they come up with. We should have new images to show everyone soon.

We are now in crunch mode for the last few days of the campaign and are cranking away at the project, polishing up the final details as we near the end. We will do our best to deliver everything we have promised as quickly as we are able to.

Lastly, you can still help us get the word out to as many people as possible. So, please, dear geeks and nerds, share with whomever you think might be interested in an adventure based on Charles Dickens's classic.

Thank you, and once again, Merry Christmas!

Social stretch goal blown apart!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Dec 03, 2019 at 12:31:47 AM

Thanks to our backers and the people who just like "A Christmas Carol Adventure," we have smashed our social stretch goal of 500 shares.

We would also like to say another big thank you to TheGamer.com for their article and to all of you who shared it! It was a complete surprise to see their article over the weekend and really amazing to see ourselves at the top of the trending tab.  We actually stayed at the #2 "Popular News" spot all weekend!

In anticipation of reaching our goal, Josiah has been writing away and finished preparing the NPCs this weekend! The town of Grace just got a bit more crowded for any GMs looking to expand the world and add a few more people to their roster!

Thank you again for all of your help in completing our social stretch goals. Now our focus goes back to our funding stretch goal of $20,000 when we will add the Tiny Tim miniatures pack!

The Spirits of Christmas are here! New miniature set unlocked!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Dec 01, 2019 at 04:03:12 PM

Sound the Christmas trumpet and call in the ghost catchers! We have hit our stretch goal of $15,000, and new miniatures have been released!

We're not certain what to say here other than THANK YOU! We are super excited to have this take off as it has, and your support and witty comments have been a constant joy for us as we crank through the hard work of managing our first-ever Kickstarter campaign. We have to give credit to thegamer.com for this last surge. They published a fantastic article about our project that just hit number 2 in popularity on their website. Check it out by clicking on their icon below.

Now that we have the Spirits of Christmas, we are reaching back into our “Ya, this isn’t happening" bag and hauling from the very bottom. As our final stretch goal, we will include both an often requested addition and something special. When we reach $20,000, we will add another miniature pack to the adventure which will include Tiny Tim, the physician, and the creature. Everyone knows of Tiny Tim, of course, but we are willing to bet no one has a miniature of a tiny, sickly orphan boy in their collection (though having typed that out, TJ nows says he needs one). The other two miniatures are new additions to the classic tale that we cannot really share too much about. The physician is taking care of Tiny Tim and is the reason the heroes come to the town of Grace in the first place. The creature...is something else--something that cannot be shared without spoilers. So...we won't. Let's just say that Josiah is very excited to add it to the table.

We have not created the artwork or the miniatures for these final three figures yet. However, just like with the Spirit minis, we promise to have them to our backers along with all the other physical rewards and will be including the digital files as well. You can expect us to keep our quality at the same high level as the other models.

Just a few months ago, we were two guys in a basement looking up at the daunting task of launching our first product, and now we have hundreds of people excitedly sharing our dream! In fact, we are just 50 shares away from reaching our social stretch goal and unlocking our NPC expansion!

For now, here is the final art for the Spirit of Christmas Future. Merry Christmas!

News from around the Web!
over 4 years ago – Thu, Nov 28, 2019 at 08:13:18 PM

Hello backers!

Coming hot on the heels of our recent stretch goal is a ton of news from around the web! First up is a review from Egg Embry over from Enworld.com and Gamer Nation! He reached out at the start of the campaign asking if he could review the material, and we, of course, couldn't turn him down! This morning he posted his review on Gamer Nation for everyone, and we just had to share it here! (Beware! There are marked spoilers for the adventure.)

D20 Radio

On top of that, we also had something a bit unexpected come up with Chris and Drew over at Love Thy Nerd interviewing Josiah on their podcast "Humans of Gaming!" It was a bit of a hard choice, but we decided to let Josiah out of the writing box to answer a few questions with them.

Now we are off to eat turkey and pumpkin pie!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Third Stretch Goal Unlocked! The gift that keeps on giving... miniatures!
over 4 years ago – Wed, Nov 27, 2019 at 06:20:33 PM

 It’s here! It’s here!  It’s finally here!

Today we have unlocked the 3D printed miniatures for our Kickstarter! We have added a tier for our backers that will include not only the adventure and maps but now also comes with all 11 of the minis for the game! The 3D models will also be available as an add-on in the post-campaign survey for those who want to customize their pledge.

I would say that this feels like a Christmas miracle, but really it is because of all of you who have decided to back our crazy dream. We are so very proud of this project and grateful to each of you.

Now that we have added this to the project, we are reaching into our bag of stretch goals labeled: “Ya, this isn’t happening.” TJ is typically the miniatures madness man, but Josiah has been hoping to add some small plastic pieces to the game as well. So, if we reach the goal of $15K, we will reach out to our 3D artist and commission him to create miniatures for all three Spirits of Christmas!

Yes! Now the Spirits of Christmas won’t be ghosts in the game and on your table but will instead actually be there (as much as ghosts can be). This is a bit wild to be able to do, and we are super excited to offer it. The Spirits of Christmas will be available as a separate add-on with options for both digital files and 3D printed models.

As a thank you, we have decided to share another piece of art from Ryan Valle: The Spirit of Christmas Present! Thank you again!
